In North Phoenix, in the back of the New Solutions sober living house sits a big empty lot. The lot is often full of trash, broken glass, empty bottles and cans and has not been used for anything else in years. 5A owns the lot and the leadership team at 5A has had dreams of turning the space into something great. A place the community of sober people that pass through our doors can use to further their health and wellness. We envision a basketball court, sand volleyball, picnic tables, shade structures, and a space to host events, open mics, and of course, meetings. 

The cost of the project is substantial and there is much work to be done. 

With the help of our supporters we are raising $20k to simply break ground and get started on the Backlot Beautification Project. You can see that our BIG goal is $300,000! All funds raised this year will be dedicated to the backlot included funds raised from the annual 5K for 5A at the Phoenix Zoo.
