Alcoholism & Addiction Assistance Association is a 501[c][3] non-profit corporation, started in 1969 by Tony Paskalaksis. Tony saw a need for helping the homeless acloholic or drug addict who sincerely wanted to change his life.

Since our foundation we have operated the Hope House at 316 North 11th Way in Phoenix which can accommodate 29 men. The Solution, our transitional living center, was opened in 1993. It is a newly remodeled garden apartment complex with 80 beds. The Solution takes both men and women. The New Solution, our newest facility, opened in 2003 and is geared towards the professional but is opened to all.

Because of our expanding need for bed space and the growing need for recovery in the Phoenix area, we have to eventually expand. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and all donations are tax deductible as well as anonymous depending on the wishes of the contributors. All though our operations are run in such a way as to pay our own operating expenses without any public or private contributions, capitol building projects like the one we have in mind will require the help of many of our friends. We hope you will choose to be numbered among them.
